REVIEW: Arby’s Bourbon BBQ Brisket Sandwich

I was excited to try their Bourbon BBQ Brisket Sandwich. From the first bite, it was clear that this brisket sandwich is a step above its chicken counterpart, which I will review soon.

Check out my last Arby’s review of the Potato Cakes and Big Cheesy Bacon Burger here.

The brisket in this sandwich is tender and undoubtedly real, delivering a satisfying and authentic BBQ experience. The bourbon BBQ sauce is on the sweeter side, which complements the smokiness of the brisket nicely. However, the addition of bacon makes it a bit too smoky for my taste, though it doesn't overpower the overall flavor.

One of the highlights of this sandwich is the combination of brown sugar and crispy onion straws with the brisket. This mix adds a delightful crunch and sweetness that enhances the overall taste. The toasted star-cut bun holds everything together perfectly, making each bite enjoyable.

Overall, I found Arby's Bourbon BBQ Brisket Sandwich to be much better than the chicken version, earning a solid 7/10. If you're a BBQ lover looking for a sweet and smoky sandwich, this one is definitely worth trying.
