REVIEW: Jack In The Box Bonus Jack

One of my favorite Jack In The Box items when it’s on the menu.

I recently tried the Triple Bonus Jack from Jack in the Box, and as someone who loves a good, meaty burger, this one definitely hit the spot. The patties are on the smaller side, but opting for the triple made it the perfect ratio of meat to bun. Each bite felt balanced and satisfying, with no overwhelming excess of bread or meat. The burger is loaded with melted American cheese, which I really enjoyed. The cheese added a rich, creamy texture, and it was melted just right—gooey but not overpowering.

What I liked about the Triple Bonus Jack is that it kept things simple, yet still delivered in terms of flavor. The special sauce had a nice tangy kick that complemented the burger well, enhancing the taste without overshadowing the other ingredients. While there isn’t a ton of complexity to this burger—it’s essentially a classic cheeseburger with no extra frills—the solid combination of flavors and the great balance made it a very satisfying choice.

If you’re craving a cheeseburger that’s straightforward, flavorful, and delivers on what you expect from a burger, the Triple Bonus Jack is a great option. I’d give it a solid 7/10 for its simplicity, taste, and the satisfying balance of meat, cheese, and sauce. Plus, if you’re a fan of cheeseburgers, this one’s bound to leave you content.
